Hi, This thread has already been HUGELY helpful to me, and has allowed me to change from a standard ecdf to a survival curve. But I don't know how to put in the lines. Using a similar example to the previous thread: x = rexp(10, 1) f = ecdf(x) plot (-1, 1, xlim=c(0, 5), ylim=c(0, 1)) lines(f, verticals=TRUE) This gives me a step like function with solid steps. I can then do plot(x, 1-f(x)) Which gives me the points that I want. Can anyone help me fill in the lines? I'd like to use the lines function because I have to over lay multiple sets of data. Thanks!

This is a follow up to my PSU failure post a few days ago: Based on everything that has been said it is looking like it is time to migrate over to a newer unit as this one is somewhere between 7 and 8 years old. I have decided on a unit to move to so that isn't the question here. I have an expansion unit (QNAP REXP-1220-RP) which I recently backed up all my files to. I am hoping to salvage the HDD's from the old NAS and utilize them in the new NAS that I plan to order as the RAID was recently rebuilt. Will I be able to take the drives out of the TS-EC879U-RP (my old NAS) and put them into the new QNAP NAS --> Rebuild a RAID --> Then plug in my Expansion unit and be able to transfer my data back over to my now new NAS? I swear I did something like this ages ago when I first picked up my 879 but I can't recall the steps I took. Can anyone point me to a guide I should follow or lay out the steps here? Do I just need to create the share paths to the expansion unit or what is the proper what to do do this?

I notice that QNAP sell an SAS expansion card for connecting their REXP enclosures with. Would a generic-brand SAS controller work too? Would the QNAP and the HP be compatible? I know SFP/SFP+ can be quite finicky about compatibility, is it the same story with SAS or is SAS more standardised? My P2000 is configured with 2xSAS controllers so iSCSI isn't an option. This thread is archived New comments cannot be posted and votes cannot be cast level 1 no you cannot load the driver software from the HP (probably LSI) card into the QNAP. You are stuck with the QNAP SAS-12G2E. Bob Zelin level 2 If I get the SAS-6G2E-U will that be compatible with my the SAS controllers in my HP P2000? Or is it like SFP+ where compatibility is a complete crapshoot? QNAP focused community, to share news, hints and discussion about QNAP products and QTS usage. Please, participate and enjoy!
