I remember watching In Dreams, Bismuth Casual, Together Forever, Growing Pains, Mr. Universe, and Fragments, and being astounded at each one of them, all for very different reasons, but loving each one nonetheless. I remember the Lars of the Stars promo. I remember the Lars of the Stars subreddit and the few weeks where people were going crazy conceptualizing an alternate universe where instead of Steven Universe, we had Lars of the Stars, and Steven Universe was a new spinoff show that everyone hated. Hell, I remember starting an entire spreadsheet of episodes for it that a bunch of people on the subreddit contributed to. I remember being so proud of myself to be the first one to post the leaks for the Breakup Arc despite the fact that I didn't watch them. (Warning: this link is safe, but r/suleaks probably has finale spoilers on its front page. ) I remember getting the Art & Origins book for Christmas and eagerly reading it, going crazy over all the production art and info about the show's conception in it. I remember Legs from Here to Homeworld and the hype surrounding it. It was probably one of the most exciting times the I'd seen in the fandom, what with all the theories going around. I remember watching Sunstone's introduction scene with my sibling and us pausing for five solid minutes to laugh our heads off. I remember being horribly taken aback by White taking out Steven's gem in Change Your Mind, one of the most extreme emotions I'd felt watching the show up until then. I remember rewatching the entire White Diamond scene a couple of days later, struck by how beautifully directed the whole thing was. I remember the excitement surrounding the movie trailer. I remember my dad, who actually knows things about pop culture and music, commenting on how True Kinda Love didn't sound at all like a Chance the Rapper song, and me not being able to disagree. I remember the second movie trailer and me rewatching the three-second clip of Who We Are ad infinitum because I liked it so much. I remember the awesomeness that was Other Friends, of course.
