At the time, series executive producer Andrew Dabb confirmed that the March 23rd episode would be the series' last for a while. In a post to Twitter announcing the shutdown, Dabb explained that the series had filmed through episode 18, but that visual and sound effects also had to stop which is why the season's 13th episode, "Destiny's Child" would temporarily be the last to air. "We have filmed through episode 18, however our visual effects and sound departments have closed because of the outbreak, " Dabb wrote. "So, right now, the episodes can't be finished. So, I just started watching Kaguya-Sama: Love is War because of a friend's recommendation, and I liked almost everything about the first episode, except the fan-favorite Fujiwara. I will admit that she is really funny, but her extreme "cute-ness" just makes me really uncomfortable. My first impression of her before I watched the first episode from memes and posts online also did not help, since it was just more of her being cute, too cute for me to look at. And this got me thinking more about other shows and characters that are similar to her, and as i kept thinking I realized that I am not a fan of anime characters that are just meant to only ever be "cute. " This could be one of the reasons why I'm not a fan of many slice-of-life style anime, since many of the ones I've seen/heard of have a cast of characters that immediately come across as the same type of cute as Fujiwara. One show that is a perfect example of my distaste is Lucky Star, which I only really know of because a gif of the show's intro is on one of the more well known fan-made maps in TF2.
