It's just something that you have to experience for yourself. And I can't believe they made 5 of these. I can't wait to watch the rest. Unfortunately, unlike the first one, which was so bad and bat shit crazy that it was amazing. This one is just bad. But it's still crazy. I've never in a million years thought that I would see some of the stuff that I saw in this movie, ever on any screen... It's just... I don't even know anymore. Flying laser shooting demon dick/100 (Reviewing the OVA version since the OVA doesn't have it's own page and this and the movie are very similar) Not as great as the first, but still has a ton of great moments sprinkled throughout. This one has more of a story to follow as well, and I could see this one being more accessible to those who may have not liked the plot of the first, but enjoyed the aesthetic and hype moments the first one had to offer. The soundtrack still kicks ass, and the visuals are top notch. There's not as much action as the first film, but the characters are fleshed out a bit further and I think that helps the sequel have it's own… I once had this as one of the worse films I ever saw, mostly because of its controversial content - not any more, but it's certainly a lot less cohesive than the original.

Recently I have purchased the original dubbed and edited version of the first Urotsukidoji along with the Urotsukidoji Perfect Collection - which is the original unedited OVA episodes (but only in Japanese with no dubbing). The Perfect Collection is a two disk set. I took the outside insert from the Perfect Collection and transferred it to a disk box with four inside disk mounts, adding my dubbed versions of Urotsukidoji Curse of the Overfiend, and now Urotsukidoji II Legend of the Demon Womb. Now with all four disks, I consider this the Urotsukidoji Complete and Perfect Collection (drops the microphone). I will continue on my Urotsukidoji path and buy the later ones as well - even if they are different region disks - since I have an all regions disk player.
To lure Nagumo into their trap, Kohoki and Munhi Hausen use Nagumo's cousin Takyaki as their key. Nearing death from a plane crash, Nagumo donates his blood to save Takyaki's life. But, Takyaki receives some of Nagumo's powers and has become a puppet for Munhi Hausen to manipulate. Entertaining and enjoyable sequel to the controversial 1987 cult Japanese animated horror fantasy sex-gore epic that kind of discards that apocalyptic ending of the last movie for a different continuity. Sure the action sequences are weak this time but the sex scenes are harder this time and quite realistic despite being animated, the gore is disgusting as usual and the story is complex almost like the first one but this is a more raunchier and more ballsier sequel. As a stand alone film, I could kind of follow along between the two cousins and Takiaki having some supernatural run-in in the past and Megumi being part of it.

Again, its doomed in having an awful English dub, worse for its use of excessive swearing, and having been cut down into feature length and cut down for British censorship. It's also got failures in its original narrative as well. Inconsistencies, plot logic gags and a habit of characters to forget traumas that have just taken place to them, or only brought up scenes later in the narrative. Without sounding crass, one character clearly comes from a culture, as a beast person, where certain sexual conduct is… ha ha ha. i do not know what you are saying. i just want to fuck you! Astonishing movie. Ideas and ideas and ideas and ideas just unspooling and unspooling and unspooling and going and going and going and going and going. Looks good, extremely silly, impossible to understand what's happening, but that's okay because there's a cyborg blood tower powered by screaming naked chicks being raped by fuck machines and they explode into blood and summon Satan... and that's in the first five minutes alone.

As for the content that this is most attributed with - it certainly upheld that expectation granted it didnt exactly make much sense why so much sex was required. The look of the film was great. I always liked that 80s, early 90s look in anime. Plus the soundtrack was strangely pretty good too. The voice acting was atrocious but that made the viewing ironically fun. Overall, I am curious to eventually watch the entire series. I only watched this because I got the laserdisc copy for a relatively low price.
