Cortez was so impatient to take over the Phoenix territory that he rigged his very first delivery to explode, and it was fun to watch his panic and fury when he found out that wasn't enough to take out the new Queen. If only they played music that fun... Just read the one and two stars reviews from others, and perhaps you would agree with them about this movie. I guess it depends on your perspective. If you are looking for reality, life lessons, and instruction on the best way to find the love of your life, skip this movie. It's just fun, that's all. Yes, the main character is ditzy, a hopeless romantic, and misses so much for so long -- but there are so many laughs along the way! If you can just suspend real life and enjoy the ride, you might end up loving this movie as much as I do. I really prefer the Hallmarks that have a lot of humor -- maybe you have to develop a sense of humor by having eight kids, I don't know. But this is meant to just be funny, not serious in the least, and in my humble opinion, it is that. FUNNY. Premièrement, il est très fidèle à l'histoire Asterix et Cleopatre de Goscinny et Uderzo. Toutes les péripéties et la plupart des blagues ont été reprises comme par exemple l'auto sabordage des pirates de Barbe-Rouge ou encore les noms décalés des personnages. Le réalisateur est allé plus loin car il a donné un rythme soutenu au film, ce qui le rend plus dynamique qu' Astérix contre césar. Pour cela, il a rajouté des idées très visuelles comme l'utilisation de la chanson de James BROWN « I feel good » lors de la séquence de la construction du palais de César ou le passage en dessin animé lorsque les héros gaulois se retrouvent enfermés dans la pyramide égyptienne.
